Ever since I first saw the movie called "The Way" I have wanted to do that or something similar. At this point in my life I find that I have the opportunity to do just that.

So, I am in the process planning to hike a portion of the Continental Divide Trail (CDT). I will start this journey in Butte, Montana and travel north to Glacier National Park where I will cross another task off my bucket list, seeing a glacier in person. This adventure should take about a week to two weeks depending on my pace. Traveling roughly 350 miles. 

I don't want to stop there though, I want to hike the entire CDT, so after this first leg on the Montana section, I will start making plans to journey the rest of the CDT all the way to Mexico! I also would like to Hike the Pacific Crest Trail from Glacier National Park to Seattle, Washington as well as the overland trail through the Appalachian Mountains in the eastern US. At the top of this overland hiking journey is a pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago in Spain, the trail that the movie, "The Way," is about.

I plan to document this journey and produce a YouTube video sharing my experience. 🎬
